- Q: What is compounding?
A: The compounding is a tool that allows you to increase the account principal amount in your account by adding part or whole of your daily interest to your account principal amount.
- Q: What is a basic compounding option?
A: The basic compounding option lets you choose the rate at which you can compound your daily interest. The available rates are 0% to 100% with the increment of 10%. Under the basic compounding rate you can change the compounding rate at any time.
- Q: What is an enhanced compounding option?
A: The enhanced compounding option lets you choose among 3 pre-determined terms – 90, 135 and 180 business days. Depending on the term you select, you will be earning an extra daily rate of 0.2%, 0.3% and 0.4% respectively. Under this option, the compounding rate will be set at 100% and you will not be able to modify the rate or cancel the choice of the enhanced compounding option during the selected term under any circumstance.
- Q: How often can I change the compounding rate in my account?
A: Under the basic compounding option, you can do that any time and as often as you wish. Under the enhanced compounding option, you cannot modify the rate or cancel the choice of the enhanced compounding option during the selected term under any circumstance.

- Q: I have chosen to use the enhanced compounding option for 90 business days. What happens after this term of 90 days is over? Will I be able to withdraw all of the interest earned at once?
A: The interest you will be earning during the use of the enhanced compounding option for 90 business days is added (compounded) to the account principal. Therefore, this interest becomes the part of your account principal. In turn, the account principal is locked in for the term of 180 business days from the date of the initial deposit into your Felmina account. So, you will be able to withdraw the interest you have earned with the help of the enhanced compounding option only after the general lock-in term of 180 business days is over.
